Personal project
Velora is a concept online store for a modern fashion boutique. It covers the full shopping journey, from browsing the latest collection to checking out, wrapped in a bold editorial design: black backgrounds, large condensed headlines and full-bleed fashion photography.
I built it as a personal project to practise designing and developing a complete multi-page e-commerce website: a product catalogue, individual product pages, a shopping cart and checkout, plus the content pages a real store needs: About, Blog, FAQ, Contact and Privacy Policy.
What I did
Design and front-end development of the whole site: page layouts, responsive behaviour for desktop, tablet and mobile, entrance and scroll animations, and the shopping flow from product listing to cart and checkout.
Key features
- Shop & product pages: a product grid with prices, and detailed product pages with rating, stock status, description, shipping and warranty information and an Add to Cart button.
- Cart & checkout: a slide-out cart and a checkout form for customer details and shipping address.
- Content pages: About, a Blog with articles, an FAQ section, a Contact form and a Privacy Policy.
- Search and a custom 404 page.
- Responsive layout that adapts to desktop, tablet and mobile.
Design
The visual identity is built on high contrast: a black background, oversized white condensed headlines such as “Fresh Summer” and “Effortless Luxury”, and large rounded image cards. Entrance and scroll animations bring the hero and product sections to life, while the layout keeps the focus on the clothing.
