Personal project
Aelia is a concept website for a nail studio in the centre of Athens. Everything a new client needs fits on a single, scrolling page: what the studio offers, how much it costs, who the team is and how to book, all in a soft, calm design that matches the feel of the salon.
I built it as a personal project focused on small local businesses: a clear, elegant one-page site that presents services and prices at a glance and makes it as easy as possible for visitors to call, find the studio or send a booking request.
What I did
Design and front-end development of the whole page: layout and typography, the services and price list, team, testimonials and FAQ sections, the contact form, responsive behaviour for desktop, tablet and mobile, and subtle scroll animations.
Key features
- Services & price list: treatments grouped into Manicures, Pedicures and Gel Nails, each with its own price, plus quick links from the overview cards.
- Booking-focused: “Book Now” buttons throughout the page, a click-to-call phone button that stays on screen, and opening hours and address in the top bar.
- About & trust: key stats (rating, years of expertise, rebook rate), a quote from the founder and client testimonials.
- Team: profile cards for the nail artists with their speciality.
- FAQ & contact: answers to common questions and a contact form with an inquiry type (booking, question, special request, feedback).
- Responsive layout that adapts to desktop, tablet and mobile.
Design
The look is soft and calm: a warm blush background, deep plum accents, an elegant serif for headlines with italic highlights such as “like you?” and “speak your style”, and arched image frames. Hand-drawn icons and gentle animations add personality without distracting from the services.
